Gemini Dataloggers has now added outdoor loggers called Plus Radio to the indoor wireless data logger series 'Ultra Radio'. They fit seamlessly into Tinytag's wireless logger concept. The loggers are available with internal temperature/humidity sensors and connections for PT100/PT1000 temperature probes. In addition, voltage inputs - 0 to 2.5 V(DC), 0 to 25 V(DC), current inputs - 0 to 20 mA(DC) - and pulse counters (0 to 32,000) are available; external sensors from other manufacturers can also be connected. The loggers are powered by two alkaline C batteries or a mains connection. A 'logger farm' includes a receiver that collects the data from the individual loggers and forwards it to a computer. The outdoor loggers and receivers form a flexible network with each other, and data can also be transferred from logger to logger to the receiver. The distance between two devices is limited to around 100 m. If a logger fails or is excluded by a temporary obstacle, the network immediately reorganizes itself. If there is no contact with the receiver, the loggers save their data until they regain contact.
