MSC Technologies presents the 4U 19-inch industrial server Infinity S4-408-MBC612, which is based on an ATX board with Intel Xeon E5 processors and the Intel chipset C612. For very high requirements, the server can even be equipped with two Xeon E5 processors with up to twelve cores. The industrial system can operate in a temperature range between 0 and +45 °C; depending on the configuration, operation up to +50 °C is also possible. Two 92 mm fans are mounted at the front and a 60 mm fan at the rear to dissipate the heat. The ATX board has 2 × 4 DIMM sockets for fast DDR4 memory (2133/1866/1600 MHz). A maximum memory capacity of 256 GB per CPU can be fitted. Typical areas of application for the rugged server system are image processing and real-time analysis as well as the evaluation of extensive measurement data.
The server is equipped with drives for accommodating 2.5-inch SSDs, 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch HDDs, 5.25-inch DVD-RW (slimline) or DVD-RW in a RAID array. The industrial computer also has two 5.25-inch bays and an internal 2.5-inch bay. A total of six free slots are available for system expansions. The scope of delivery includes a 500 W power supply unit - 100 to 240 V(AC) - and the system is available with a redundant 2 × 500 W power supply unit or with a DC power supply unit on request.
