Products with a high number of variants pose an enormous challenge for quality assurance at the end of production. Conventional test and inspection systems cannot meet the requirement for an individual test and inspection sequence for each individual test specimen. With the help of dynamic test plans, Deutronic Elektronik wants to use its test and inspection system to test each test specimen individually with regard to its specification. To make this possible, the required information is transferred from the SAP ERP system to the test and inspection system when the order is received. The DTS-PS test and inspection software then calculates an individual test plan. According to the manufacturer, this enables highly efficient, variant-specific testing.
