Hilscher - PC card in M.2 format for industrial master and slave communication
Hilscher has expanded its 'cifX' PC card portfolio and offers a solution for industrial master and slave communication in M.2 format. The cifX M3042100BM enables users to equip their automation devices via an M.2 socket with an interface card that can cover a variety of Real-Time Ethernet and fieldbus protocols. This makes the card particularly suitable for space-critical applications such as tablets, touch panels or slim box IPCs that are to be integrated into an automation network.
With loadable firmware for the various protocols, the card can be easily adapted to changing market conditions and paves the way for users in systems and machines with different communication standards. In addition to all common protocol variants, the M.2 card is available with various drivers for the most commonly used operating systems.
