04 - Kontron: Compact motherboards
Kontron launches the K3921-N mSTX and K3921-H mSTX motherboards in a compact mini-STX format. The K3921-N mSTX (pictured) supports Intel Core i3 processors and Intel N-series processors (Alder Lake N) with UHD Gen12 graphics based on the Intel Xe architecture. It has features such as two DisplayPorts v1.4, one DisplayPort via front USB Type-C, one embedded DisplayPort and one dual-channel LVDS (24 bit) to support up to three independent displays with 4K resolution (2× 4K and 1× FHD). Four versions are available. With features such as 2×GbE LAN (1× 1 GbE, 1×2.5 GbE) including teaming support, 2× COM ports and adjustable CPU TDP, it is suitable for various industrial applications. The K3921-H mSTX is the cost-optimized version of the K3921-N mSTX and meets individual requirements with slightly reduced functionality. It is equipped with the Intel processor N100 and also offers 2× DisplayPort v1.4, 1×eDP and 1× USB Type-C (Alt mode). The board has a GbE LAN (without teaming support) and an M.2 Key-M connector with expansion option for PCIe and SATA.
