The Merkur camera series from EVT combines a line scan camera with a smart camera to create an intelligent high-speed system for inspecting continuous material, printing material, paper and steel webs in the printing industry and textile production. 'Merkur ZLS' has an FPGA and IP core to program it independently. The dual-core ARM processor can optionally be expanded with a Myriad 2 deep learning processor. This makes it possible to solve faster applications in deep learning surface inspection. The camera has Power over Ethernet as well as M12 connectors and protection class IP67 with a maximum resolution of 2 x 2048 pixels. As no additional PC is required, the line scan camera can be easily integrated into machines. The camera is also supported by the 'EyeVision' software and can therefore be used with the full command range of the drag-and-drop software. The combination of 'Merkur' line scan camera and 'EyeVision' software is also available as 'EyeCheck ZLS'.
