Siemens is launching a coordinated package of Simatic Advanced Controller and Sinamics servo drive system for motion control applications. Integrated in TIA Portal, the new Simatic S7-1500 T-CPU controller takes over the control part. The new Sinamics servo drive system Sinamics V90 with Profinet brings the necessary speed and precision to the machine. With the new package, Simatic users can now solve extended motion control tasks, such as gear or cam synchronization.
