The 'D-Line' from Keller combines a robust industrial pressure transducer with the I2C interface and is now also available as an intrinsically safe version. The resulting D Ei series is approved for gas group II applications and can be used to measure absolute and relative pressures in zone 0. The modular series allows many combinations and is therefore particularly suitable as a component for customer-specific developments using an I2C interface: As an OEM pressure transmitter for direct installation in existing holes in a system (4 LD Ei...9 LD Ei)k, as an OEM pressure transmitter with pressure connection for screwing into existing pressure systems (20 D Ei), as a pressure transmitter with pressure connection and cable entry (21 D Ei, 23 D Ei) or as a level probe for tank content measurements up to a maximum filling height of 3 m (26 D Ei). The pressure transmitters are available in various sizes. The intrinsically safe OEM transmitters have an embedded DSP core (Digital Signal Processing), which compensates and standardizes the output values. The pressure ranges are specified as 1 to 1000 bar.
