EL-Flow Prestige PI (Pressure Insensitive) is a mass flow controller from Bronkhorst with an additional integrated pressure and temperature sensor. As before, the gas flow can be measured and controlled via the thermal mass flow sensor. Since external factors such as temperature and pressure fluctuations in the pipeline network or the gas temperature can have a negative impact on the measuring accuracy and control stability of mass flow controllers, this device measures the flow rate, pressure and temperature during the dosing process and optimizes the control parameters for flow control on the spot. The product line is also equipped with an integrated database. An on-board conversion algorithm enables the accurate conversion of calibration gas data for 100 gases and gas mixtures using an on-board gas properties database. The actual measured temperature and pressure are used in the on-board conversion model to compensate for changes in process conditions.
