Pilz is expanding its product group of non-contact, magnetic safety switches PSENmag with a stainless steel version. The stainless steel housing should offer only a small surface area for deposits and be resistant to aggressive cleaning methods, such as sterilization with hot steam. The IP67/IP69K switch can therefore be used in areas with heavy soiling and high cleaning requirements - for example in the food industry, pharmaceutical production or cosmetics manufacturing. The stainless steel version is available in two different versions with cable or plug-in connection. For applications in extreme temperatures, the cable version is heat and cold resistant for temperature ranges from -25 to 80°C. The plug version can be used up to 120°C. The safety switch is vibration and impact resistant and has a high B10D value (guide value for service life). Additional signaling contacts with integrated LED enable user-friendly diagnostics. In combination with the configurable safe small controllers PNOZmulti or the safety relays PNOZsigma, users receive a safe and economical complete solution, according to the manufacturer.
