ebm-papst manufactures components for ventilators. The Group management has now prioritized the production and delivery of medical technology components at all company locations. However, future bottlenecks cannot be completely ruled out.
Specifically, this concerns components for ventilators and respirators (PAPR) as well as analysis devices in the laboratory sector. According to ebm-papst, existing customers are asking for deliveries to be brought forward and requesting increases in quantities. In addition, ebm-papst is receiving many new inquiries from well-known companies in the medical technology sector as well as from other industries. Inquiries have currently increased fifteenfold compared to before the pandemic.
