Omron introduces collaborative robots from the TM series to the market. The company is launching a mobile-compatible model that can be seamlessly combined with the mobile robots of the 'LD' series, enabling manufacturers to automate complex processes such as pick-and-place on transport containers and flexibly connect their production processes using mobile robots. The 'TM' series robots are available in twelve models with arm lengths of 900, 1100 and 1300 mm for payloads of 4, 6, 12 and 14 kg. There are models that comply with the SEMI S2 safety guidelines as well as models that do not. Thanks to the flowchart-based, intuitive interface and simple teach functions, little to no prior knowledge is required to program the robots. The robots have an integrated vision and lighting system that captures products from a wide viewing angle. Thanks to many core functions such as pattern recognition, barcode detection and color recognition, inspection, measuring and sorting applications can be easily implemented.
