The functions performed by rectangular connectors in mechanical and plant engineering range from power transmission to the transfer of large amounts of data. A secure power supply is just as important for the smooth running of a complex manufacturing process as the continuous communication between production units and plant components. To prevent particularly sensitive interfaces from being disconnected accidentally or without authorization, thereby interrupting production processes, Ilme has developed special locking elements which, in combination with the appropriate padlock, provide the necessary security. The CR CLK (+ padlock 'TM BLC') locking elements are available for the add-on housings with two brackets, the standard connector series 'Class' standard connector series and CR YLK 24SL (+ padlock 'CR BLC 622') for the enclosures with a central bracket, which are frequently used in the robotics sector in particular. The locking elements, which can be fitted with a simple hand movement, are connected to the enclosure via an enclosed lanyard and can therefore not be lost.
