For reliable energy supply to cobots and industrial robots, igus offers the triflex R energy chain series. In addition to metal clamps, users can now use plastic fastening clamps to attach the energy chain to the robot arm. The design with rounded edges increases work safety by reducing the risk of injury on contact with the robot. The plastic clamps can be mounted on the robot arm using a screw connection; the energy chain is attached and fixed to the clamp using a clip. The clamps are suitable for cobots from Universal Robots, TMS and Kuka LBR iiwa robot arms. The 'triflex R' series has been specially developed for demanding 6-axis robots in industrial environments. A ball and socket principle ensures high tensile strength and easy assembly of the energy chain. Their internal layout is freely selectable.
