The miniature fork light barriers PM-25/45/65 from Panasonic are equipped with an intensive status LED that is clearly visible from all sides. The fork width of 6 mm (with the same external dimensions as conventional fork light barriers) offers a wide range of applications and minimizes object collisions. It is mounted with a maximum of two M3 screws. The fixed fork width eliminates the need for beam alignment during installation. All sensors in the series are equipped with reverse polarity protection so that the sensor remains undamaged in the event of incorrect wiring. For optimum mounting and alignment, each housing has a marking for the upper and lower limits of the beam axis as well as a marking for the beam width. The three series of fork light barriers are available in a variety of different designs for diverse customer requirements in the tightest of spaces. The sensors in the "PM-25" and "PM-45" series also have an integrated cable of up to 3 m in length. The "PM-65" series is available as a connector type version. Improved material processing technology enables an IP64 degree of protection without joints.
