The armStone A9r2 module family from F&S Elektronik Systeme is based on the i.MX-6 application processor from NXP and is aimed at demanding industrial and medical devices with a long-term availability of up to 15 years. The module is an upgrade of the armStone A9; the module has been extended by 32 GB eMMC, WLAN (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Dual Band), Bluetooth (BT 3.0) and MIPI-CSI camera interface. The operating systems Windows Embedded Compact 2013, Windows Embedded Compact 7 and Linux Buildroot or Yocto have been adapted.
