Soredi launches the SH10 TaskBook. Its flat, coated aluminum housing with rubber bumpers can withstand stresses such as heat, cold, dust, dirt and multiple drops from up to 1.5 m onto concrete. Its 10-inch multi-touch display fused with Gorilla glass can be operated intuitively with gesture control. In the splash-proof interior (IP65), Intel processor technology with twice 1.46 GHz and 4 Gbyte DRAM ensures high performance without a fan. With the Windows 10, Windows 10 IoT, Windows 7 Professional or Windows Embedded 7 operating systems, many tasks can be performed directly in the standard software. Applications for quality control, ERP and MES systems are available, as is the Office package under Windows. With an auto range imager in the handle module, which works reliably at ranges from 50 cm to 8 m, goods movements can be booked directly in the ERP system. It can also be used for order picking, goods receiving, stocktaking or reading 1 D and 2 D barcode data. An integrated camera and microphone are available for documentation purposes and voice recognition. An RFID reader with LEGIC or Mifare readers can also be integrated. The communication capabilities range from NFC, Bluetooth and WLAN to UMTS/LTE/GPS modules for use outside the company premises.
