With the Microcontroller Unit (MCU) and its NSetup software, Noax offers options for monitoring and controlling the industrial PC. For its new N11 board generation, the company has given the software for the MCU the new name Nsmart and expanded its range of functions and redesigned the interfaces. According to the manufacturer, the user sees a clear graphic consisting of various buttons that are distributed like tiles across the entire monitor. Each button contains a pictogram so that the function behind it is immediately recognizable. The function is also described again in brief words. Anyone requiring background information can call this up via the user interface. An administrator can assign the desired functions or macros for short standard texts to the function keys of the industrial PCs via the screen. The user also has access to other functions of the computer via links, for example to the touch driver and the Windows energy options. In the new version, the reports are automatically output in PDF file format.
