Kollmorgen's AKD2G series of servo drives offers a solution portfolio that makes even complex safety functions easy to integrate. Safe encoders, connection with just one cable and the elimination of additional I/O modules save time during installation. The AKD2G has two axes, expandable inputs/outputs (without affecting the dimensions), removable memory and, according to the manufacturer, the industry's first permanently integrated color graphic display in a servo amplifier. In terms of functional safety, the AKD2G has safety functions such as Safe Brake Control (SBC) and Safe Brake Test (SBT) as well as speed and position-related safety functions such as Safe Limited Speed (SLS), Safe Limited Increment (SLI) and Safe Direction (SDI).
