With the thin clients of the R. Stahl 500 series remote HMIs, control solutions from Emerson, Siemens, Yokogawa, Honeywell, Allen Bradley, ABB, Rockwell or Schneider can be accessed from the field. This is possible both for classic workstations and for the increasingly common virtual machines (VM). The remote HMIs are available both as touchscreen models and with a keyboard and are offered with displays in screen sizes from 15 to 24 inches and resolutions from 1024 × 768 to 1920 × 1200 pixels. They rely on energy-saving LED backlighting and, thanks to their robust design, are suitable for operation in an extended temperature range between -30 and +55 °C (+50 °C in continuous operation). They can also be used in clean rooms. In addition to versions for standard industrial use, ATEX and IECEx-approved models for zones 1/21 and 2/22 are also available.
