The electrode system developed detects the user's water balance by placing it on their hand. Evaluation software then recognizes the user's hydration status and communicates the result to the user. If the water level is too low, the device issues a visual and acoustic warning. With the user-friendly design of the device, the students want to appeal to senior citizens in particular.
