BD Sensors has developed the DPT 100 differential pressure transducer, which operates with a rise time of only around 10 ms, allowing pressure curves to be recorded at a measuring rate of 250 Hz. According to the manufacturer, the device is easy to install or retrofit, as the measuring and connection technology has remained unchanged compared to the devices on the market with a flange connection. A compact design facilitates integration into standardized applications. In addition to the classic version with an analog 4 to 20 mA signal, the measuring transducer is also available in a digital version with an RS485 interface (Modbus RTU). The differential pressure transmitter has been specially designed for fast test processes in the field of leakage and flow measurement, where a short rise time and high sampling rates are required.
