With the 'C-QT 15', IVG Göhringer offers a diagnostic module for troubleshooting CAN systems, which can be plugged into the running CAN system as a passive participant at any point. The diagnostic module automatically detects the baud rate and continuously analyzes the CAN communication using typical characteristic values. The values are shown directly on the integrated display. Users can set various trigger criteria for troubleshooting: ID and content of the transmitted telegrams, number of faulty telegrams and bus load. If at least one of these trigger criteria is met, the status is signaled via the integrated status LEDs and a potential-free alarm contact - for example via a warning light or a horn. It is also possible to evaluate the alarm contact via the higher-level control system. The trigger criteria can be set via PC software.
