In order to provide customers with the entire infrastructure for the enclosure, Weidmüller has filterfans in its range that cool the enclosure using ambient air. This air is cleaned by a filter mat as it is drawn in, absorbs the heat from the components installed in the enclosure and finally exits through an outlet filter. Weidmüller's portfolio includes four different designs: Standard filterfans, filterfans in EMC design for increased electromagnetic field attenuation requirements, roof outlet filters and "Slim Line" filterfans, which have a particularly flat design. A 4-corner snap-in mechanism enables tool-free installation. All designs are available in different sizes and outputs: For example, the smallest device with a volume flow of 25 m3/h has an edge length of 109 mm with a depth of 62 mm. The most powerful device offers a volume flow of 925 m3/h and has an edge length of 320 mm with a depth of 157 mm. Coordinated accessories complement the fan range. For example, there is a selection of heating and control elements that reliably prevent the risk of condensation forming in the enclosure. The heaters are designed for a voltage supply of 110 V to 250 V and are optionally available with a thermostat.
