Based on Kuhnke's compact "63.1" valve series, there is now the standard 63.1V valve, which has been specially developed as a pilot valve for the requirements of process technology. Pneumatically actuated process valves are often equipped with control heads, so-called control units, which communicate with fieldbus systems over long distances in the plant. Pilot valves are installed in them, which actuate the process valve via a pneumatic actuator. Low energy consumption is desirable for the extensive distribution in the system. With a power consumption of <1 W, the "63.1V" can cover a pressure range of 2 to 8 bar and thus reliably operate the actuator even at low system pressure. 270 l/min. flow rate ensures delay-free activation of the actuator. Thanks to its size with a flanged housing only 15 mm wide, each connection block of a control head can be easily adapted to the valve, even in confined installation spaces. A tool-free manual switchover simplifies the operation of the valve during system maintenance. 3/2-way NC or NO versions with 12 V(DC) or 24 V(DC) nominal voltage are available.
