The new HMI suite integrated into Movisa from Monkey Works includes various components. The Workbench is the development and engineering tool with which mobile HMIs are designed and parameterized. Workbench users have a free choice between iOS, Android and HTML5. The export modules integrated into the workbench automatically convert the HMI design into native apps that unfold the full range of functions of the mobile devices. The HMIs exported as apps can communicate directly with a PLC or other data sources and process their data. Neither servers nor protocol converters are required. For value-added services such as 24/7 process monitoring and alarm management with notification of alarms via push notifications, Monkey Works provides a data hub with its Process Hub as a hosted solution with a flexible pricing model or as an installation package.
