The flexible multifunction controller from Hesch is an intelligent controller that is now also available in a 24 V (DC) version and a starter set in a case. It can control complex processes in the process industry and, according to the manufacturer, closes the gap between a standard controller and an often oversized PLC. The starter set contains a multifunction controller with a communication card for Ethernet and RS485 as well as an I/O card with numerous analog and digital inputs and outputs. The case also includes a USB connection cable, a USB stick with the 'EasyTool MFC' PC software and a USB dongle with a license for transferring data from the PC to the controller. Configuration and application creation on the PC are easy thanks to the tool with its diverse function block library and 'drag & drop'. Based on the wiring concept, the user can put together their own sequence control and process control - without any programming knowledge. With a simulation function, the software makes it possible to test the application in advance without any risk. During commissioning, the tool supports the user with various debugging and forcing functions.
