Omron Electronic Components Europe presents the B3SE encapsulated SMD pushbutton with a height of just 2 mm. According to the supplier, its haptic properties have a positive effect on the perceived quality of the entire user interface thanks to its strong tactile feedback function. The SMD push-button with a size of 6 mm x 6 mm enables high-density mounting. Its silver contacts are sealed to IP67 (IEC 60529) and thus protect against switching contact contamination in dusty environments as well as against the ingress of fluxes and liquids during the manufacturing process. It can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C without frost or droplet formation. Applications include building automation, instrumentation, consumer electronics and household appliances (white goods).
