The analog 'S-Dias' input module AI 022 from Sigmatek provides two strain gauge full bridges for the precise measurement of forces. The module can evaluate resistance measuring bridges such as strain gauges or load cells. To cover the various types of measuring cells, the analog card is equipped with five different input ranges, which can be set from 0.25 mV/V to 16 mV/V on the software side. With a resolution of 24 bits, the force transducers provide measured values with an accuracy of ±0.035 %. The zero point and end deflection can be calibrated. The input module also has sensor break and overload or short-circuit detection. The 4-wire and 6-wire connection variants are available for evaluating the measuring cells.
