The "Arex" series from Datalogic is a family of compact fiber lasers for high-speed marking on metal and plastic for the automotive and electronics industries. These fiber lasers have received a comprehensive update: The Arex 400, for example, has a repeatability of ±0.5 mm and a programmable green spot for immediately visible process feedback. Together with the "Marvis2" software, the laser marker becomes a complete traceability solution that is specially designed for the integration of laser marking technology with DPM (Direct Part Marking) validation. With the "2Marvis" graphic interface, the complete marking and readout chain can be controlled via a single input device. The software can connect all laser markers and readers from the supplier's portfolio and, according to the supplier, supports practically any type of marking and inspection process.
