With the 'CamCube' product family, Pyramid offers modular and scalable system solutions for industrial image processing that are particularly suitable for harsh industrial environments with high ambient temperatures. The low-end version is the CamCube m, a lightweight and compact image processing system that can be equipped with different expansion cards depending on requirements. It is also suitable for use with USB 3.0 cameras, as the small form factor enables installation close to the camera. The latest member of the product family is the CamCube 6.0, based on the sixth generation of Intel Core processors for computing-intensive applications. Like the other models, CamCube plus has all standard camera interfaces such as GigE, PoE, USB 3.0, Firewire, Cameralink and CoaXPress. The product is also available as an AC and DC version and can be equipped with an optional internal UPS for the AC version. The CamCube GPU uses graphics cards that are operated in parallel with the processor. The system is particularly suitable for high-resolution cameras and learning algorithms that work with computationally intensive 3D volume data.
