The 'EyeCheck 5xxx' smart camera series from EVT is available both as a ready-to-use system with the 'EyeVision' image processing software (EyeCheck 5xxx) or as an OEM version (RoseCam). Both variants are Linux smart cameras (Ubuntu) and have a quad-core Intel ATOM CPU. The camera is also available with a Windows 10 operating system (Windows 10 IoT Enterprise). The camera offers 4 Gbyte DRAM and 64 Gbyte memory as well as an HDMI display port. The camera is available with CCD and CMOS sensors with a resolution of 0.3 MPixel to 12 MPixel. In addition to an LED illumination ring that can be removed if required, the camera has two programmable, constant LED drivers. The camera series is suitable for tasks such as pattern matching, code reading (barcode, DMC, QR), OCR/OCV, object recognition, metrology or surface inspection. The software can be operated intuitively without the need for programming knowledge. Programming is carried out using the drag & drop function in the graphical user interface.
