The Dtrans T06 multi-function four-wire transmitter from Jumo is suitable for applications in plant engineering. The mounting rail housing with a width of 22.5 mm and coded plug-in terminals is designed to enable quick switch cabinet installation and safe replacement during any calibration and maintenance work. The device can be used with resistance thermometers and thermocouples as well as with WFG/potentiometer and voltage/current signals and converts these input signals into a 0(2) to 10 V or 0(4) to 20 mA output signal. According to the manufacturer, the universal measurement input with 22-bit resolution ensures high measurement precision. The 3-way isolation between input and output is intended to guarantee high signal stability even under difficult measuring conditions. For safety-relevant applications, the device enables the configuration of a safe temperature measuring chain with the SIL option in accordance with IEC61508. This is designed for SIL3 in terms of software and SIL2 in terms of hardware. Jumo SIL temperature sensors are included in the device concept, so that the planning effort for the SIL design is reduced. If a notebook is not available, the device can be configured in four languages via a monochrome LCD display with four buttons on the front.
