With the Pascal CV4 pressure transmitter and the GV4 temperature transmitter from the V-Line, Labom is presenting two new products for the pharmaceutical, food and biotechnology industries. The devices are designed to meet the high demands of these industries in terms of hygienic design in accordance with EHEDG and FDA recommendations. The intuitive 4-button user interface supports the user with a dialog box that is shown in either German or English on the high-resolution and well-lit dot-matrix display, according to the manufacturer. A special quick setup facilitates quick access and parameterization of the devices. Based on proven sensor elements, the SIL-compliant device and software architecture for the V-Line has been further developed. The devices have a standard output signal of 4...20 mA in 2-wire technology with HART protocol. The pressure transmitter is available in the nominal range 250 mbar to 400 bar relative pressure and in the nominal range 1 to 16 bar absolute pressure. The accuracy is 0.15 % and a turndown of up to 20:1 is possible. The GV4 measuring transducer for temperature achieves an accuracy of 0.1 K with a temperature range of -50°C to 250°C. The temperature transducer is designed for invasive measurements in pipes and containers.
