Graf-Syteco is launching the D3510 operating and control unit from the 'D series'. In contrast to the devices available to date, which are intended for installation in a control panel, this device has a housing with a ball head holder on the back. This allows it to be positioned flexibly in the driver's cab of a mobile machine, for example. For use in harsh environmental conditions, the operating device complies with all relevant standards, for example from the DIN EN 60068-2 series of standards. This also includes the extended temperature range of -20 to +70 °C and protection class IP65. The operating device is equipped with a 32-bit ARM9 processor with 64 MByte RAM, 32 MByte Flash and 8 kByte FRAM. The 7-inch display offers a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. The operator can make entries using the twelve illuminated short-stroke keys and the rotary encoder. Two CAN interfaces as well as an Ethernet, RS232 and USB interface are available for integration into an automation architecture. The D3510 is supplied together with the 'Graf-Design-Studio' (GDS) software, which can be used to program all functions. Programming with Codesys or in C is also possible.
