The embedded box PC Tank-870-Q170 from ICP Germany is particularly geared towards image processing applications. According to the provider, the compact design, the high write speed and the redundancy for protecting sensitive data using the RAID function of the two 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbit/s connections contribute to this. The extended voltage input of 9 to 36 V(DC) and an operating temperature range between -20 and +45/+60 °C as well as vibration protection in accordance with MIL-STD-810G enable the Embedded Box PC to be attached directly to the machine. Optionally, up to four IP cameras with a maximum of 15.4 W per port can be connected via the PoE Ethernet expansion card IPCIE-4PoE. The PC draws its computing power from the Skylake Intel Core i7 or i5 processors and two DDR4 SO-DIMM RAMs (maximum 64 GB). The I/O interfaces on the front include four USB 3.0/2.0, four RS232 (overvoltage protection up to 2.5 KV), two each RS232/422/485 and GbE LAN as well as one 8-bit digital I/O. The connection of three independent displays is made possible by an HDMI+DP combo port, a VGA interface and an optional internal DislayPort.
