With the UI-5260CP, IDS offers a GigE industrial camera with the 'IMX249' CMOS sensor (1920 × 1200 px, 41 fps) from Sony. This means that the alternative to the 'IMX174' sensor is now available in cameras with both USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet connections. The latter is "powered over Ethernet", meaning that it only requires one cable for data transfer and power supply. The small 29 mm × 29 mm x 41 mm industrial camera is also equipped with 60 Mbytes of memory for the temporary storage of images. The camera is available as a color or monochrome version. The scope of delivery includes the 'IDS Software Suite', which supports all features of the ÄIMX249' sensor from version 4.71.
