The Vision trade fair closed its doors with a record number of exhibitors and visitors: 441 exhibitors from 28 countries and almost 10,000 visitors from 58 countries were represented. At the last Vision two years ago, there were 432 exhibitors and a good 8,700 visitors - also a record.

The "NanEye" micro CMOS image sensor from CMOSIS is designed for medical applications. It has 62,500 pixels and is only 1 x 1 x 1.7 mm in size. It is available with or without surrounding LEDs - the image shows the version with LEDs.
