Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Brigitte Zypries honored innovative ideas from the field of information and communication technology at the 'Digital Innovations Start-up Competition' at Cebit 2017. Computer&AUTOMATION shows the developments of the 20 start-ups in a picture gallery.
If you have problems with your internet connection, the smartphone app 'Conntac' will guide you step by step to the solution to your problem. The app analyzes technical parameters such as the bandwidth of the internet connection or the configuration of the router. If the problem is not recognized immediately, the user is first asked questions and the app carries out further measurements. If this does not help, a direct connection to the provider's customer service is established. The customer receives the problem description, the measurements and the measures already taken for information. This means that customer inquiries can be processed much faster and in a more targeted manner than before and the number of inquiries can be reduced.
