Three questions for ...Supply Chain Act - overdue or superfluous?
The planned German Supply Chain Act makes companies more responsible if suppliers violate human rights and environmental standards. We asked the industry associations VDMA, VDW and ZVEI what exactly this means for industry and companies.

Thilo Brodtmann has been Managing Director of the VDMA since 2015. A graduate in business administration and economics, he began his career at the VDMA in 1991 as an economics officer in the Precision Tools Association before taking over as Managing Director of the same association in 1995. This was followed in the years that followed by positions as Managing Director of various trade associations, including Robotics + Automation (1999 - 2014) and Electronics, Micro and Nano Techologies (EMINT; 2000 - 2014). From 2001 to 2015, he was also Deputy Managing Director of the VDMA.
