VDMA study7.3 billion euros in losses per year due to product piracy
The VDMA surveyed its members on the subject of product piracy. The result: the threat and the damage remain at a high level. However, Germany is not only a victim.

Currently, 59% of the companies surveyed see the need for an identity database, with the remaining 41% seeing no need for an ID database. The majority of proponents are in favor of a VDMA-specific database, with only 9% of companies relying on a third-party solution.
