Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

Following the introduction of the MSKL multi-shield clamp in autumn 2016, Icotek is expanding its product portfolio in this segment: the shield clamp will also be available in future as PFSZ-M|MSKL, PFKZ-A-M|MSKL and PFKZ-B-M|MSKL for mounting types on busbars and snap-fit on sheet metal edges. The integrated strain relief in accordance with DIN EN 62444 is provided via the robust cable outer sheath and not via the sensitive cable shield. Due to the large clamping ranges (3 to 12 mm and 8 to 18 mm), fewer different versions are required. In addition, a narrow, low design is possible even when fully equipped. The PFSZ-M|MSKL is mounted by snapping it onto 10 × 3 busbars. In contrast, the PFKZ-M|MSKL is slid over the edge of the sheet metal, with the claws ensuring a secure hold even in the event of vibrations.
