Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

ICPDAS offers the ET-2200 I/O modules in a slimline design. The further development of the "ET-7200" series consists of isolated digital I/O modules that communicate via Modbus TCP/UDP. The complete management of the modules - i.e. both configuration and firmware updates - is implemented via Ethernet. Two Ethernet ports with daisy-chain function enable series cabling, which reduces cabling effort and costs compared to a star-shaped arrangement. If a module in the row fails, the LAN bypass protection function prevents an interruption in data communication. The 'I/O Pair Connection' allows a digital input of one module to be mirrored directly to a digital output of another module. In addition, the cable break detection and the configuration options for the switch-on values and the setting of the 'Safe Values' ensure further safety in the industrial environment.
