Product presentationsNews from the field of electromechanics

Cables, connectors etc. are the backbone of every factory. The "smarter" the latter becomes, the higher the demands on the passive elements for signal and energy transmission. Computer&AUTOMATION has compiled the latest products from the field of electromechanics.

Built-in coupling 161421 from Lumberg
© Lumberg Holding

Lumberg has expanded its portfolio of DC power supply connectors: The 1614 21 panel-mounting coupling, supplemented by the matching power supply connector, is tailored to applications that require high pulling forces combined with high rated currents of up to 10 A for the extra-low voltage range. The standard for such power supply plugs is usually a current carrying capacity of up to 2 A. In addition, the built-in coupling in straight design for front mounting has a load-bearing capacity of up to 15 N pulling force, which also allows devices to be suspended. The contact carrier of the built-in coupling and plug is made of glass fiber-reinforced plastic and classified to UL94 V0, the contacts are made of nickel-plated brass. The 3-pole design of the coupling also enables the transmission of signal currents. The rated voltage is 20 V(DC) at 10 A, the insulation resistance is at least 100 MΩ.
