The Y-ConPlug CAT6A is a 10 Gbit/s RJ45 cable connector that extends the 'Y-Con' range from Yamaichi for the gigabit range and can be used with all components in the 'Y-Con' series. It supports 10 Gbit data transfer in accordance with ISO/IEC 11801. The RJ45 cable connector is designed with an integrated cable guide, EMC shielding plate made of nickel-plated brass and a rectangular cable crimp that prevents the cable from twisting. It is designed for over 1500 mating cycles and an operating temperature of -40 to +120 °C for extreme operating conditions in the field or in the factory. The connector can be supplemented with other components from the 'Y-Con' series and protected against external mechanical and electrical environmental influences in accordance with protection classes IP69K, IP68, IP67 and IP20.
