3S - Smart Software Solutions is showcasing Codesys products and features designed to simplify the configuration of operating units for building automation systems. According to the manufacturer, the new 'FlatStyle' and 'WhiteStyle' style templates enable a consistent design of modern user interfaces based on typical standard elements. The element pool has been expanded to include calendar and time elements, for example. Users can therefore configure the scheduling of automated tasks in the user interface. The user interface itself can be displayed on dedicated operating devices and HTML5-capable web browsers, for example on tablets, with responsive design. Codesys Depictor is also a new integrated product for 3D modelling and visualization of buildings and trades within the project planning interface. Another new feature is the Codesys OPC UA server, which manufacturers can integrate into their own building control systems.
