Baumüller is optimizing the DST2 high-torque motors with speed increases and performance enhancements: The motors in sizes 135 to 400 now achieve speeds of up to 2000 rpm, depending on the size.

At the same time, the output of size 400 has been increased from 320 kW to 530 kW. With the motors in this series, the company offers direct drive technology for low-maintenance and energy-efficient solutions. The motors are currently available in five sizes, with size 560 in preparation.
