Now also with Profinet
The range of stepper motors in the AZ series with mechanical absolute value sensor from Oriental Motor has been supplemented by drivers with Profinet.
The drivers are optionally compatible with the Profinet, Ethercat and Ethernet/IP fieldbus systems. Ethernet-based fieldbus systems can be used to set and execute operating data, adjust various parameters, output alarm information and monitor the drive. All commands and status messages are transmitted in real time. This means that the movements of several synchronously operating stepper motors can be executed precisely. Thanks to the direct connection of the stepper motors with network-compatible driver to the higher-level controller, only a single data cable is required.
Two driver variants are available from Oriental Motor for 24 and 48 V(DC) as well as for 230 V(AC). The motors are available in flange dimensions from 20 to 90 mm and achieve holding torques of up to 157 Nm in combination with gearboxes.
