Siemens
New management for Group strategy
Peter Körte will be the new Head of the Siemens Strategy Department from February 1, 2020. He replaces Horst J. Kayser, who has been responsible for the Siemens Portfolio Companies since the beginning of January and has continued to manage the corporate strategy on an interim basis.
As Head of Strategy, Körte (44) will report directly to Deputy CEO Roland Busch. Körte currently heads the Digital Health unit at Diagnostic Imaging at Siemens Healthineers.
"With his extensive cross-industry and international experience in digitalization - strategically and operationally - he will play an important role in the further development of strategies for digitalization and the Internet of Things," said Roland Busch.
Körte began his career at Siemens in 2007 in Corporate Strategy. At that time, he was responsible for implementing the 'fit4 2010' program and preparing the Infrastructure & Cities sector. In 2011, he moved to Medical Technology at Siemens, where he held several senior positions in diagnostics and imaging. Before joining Siemens, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group.
