Drives with air cooling
KEB Automation is expanding its drive portfolio for turboblowers, compressors and other high-speed applications: In addition to liquid-cooled high-speed drives, an air-cooled version will also be available in future.
The air-cooled 'Combivert F6' provide outputs of up to 355 kW, output frequencies of up to 2000 Hz and a maximum switching frequency of up to 16 kHz. They are optimized for operation in conjunction with the supplier's 'Combiline Z2' sine filters. As an option, the heat sinks can be routed to the outside through the control cabinet. Thanks to the possibility of parallel connection, outputs up to the megawatt range can be realized.
